Steve's Story
I missed my last year at MVHS because my dad got transfered down to NJ - I saw Bruce play when he was 16; otherwise, I basically missed Mt Vernon a lot. From there, down to NC for college - graduated UNC-Chapel Hill con cojones in '71. Drifted a bit, took the proverbial "year off," thereby escaping further education. My practice as an astrologer exploded. Was booked up a year ahead, had to quit my day job. Got my first book contract (with Bantam) in '81. Divorced my college swe...Expand for more
etie around then too. First book came out in '84; married Jodie Jensen that same year. Still married, happy. No kids. Very lucky cats. About ten books later, I'm still a pro astrologer. Love it. Lots of famous clients, lots of international travel. Jodie and I are about to move to the desert of southern California, where we just built a straw-bale house, with lots of cat-ramps. Funny to think of my life described in these few words. I've left out all the good stuff, of course.
